Every so often, more often in the current “internet era”, you see something that doesn’t meld with what you know. I’ve come across two such things: One involves dwarfs and their craftsmanship, and the other involves goblins.
Declassify >My Second Avengers Review – A Focus on Dr. Selvig and a Hole in the Marvel Universe
In my first review of Marvel’s the Avengers, I ended with a diatribe about my geekdom getting watered down in the process of making it consumable for the masses. I recently saw the movie a second time and again I thoroughly enjoyed it. There is one thing that I need to discuss, or point out, as an addendum to my first review.
One thing to consider, about my first post, is that everything I said was criticism and it was not meant as a condemnation.
Declassify >A Movie Review of Marvel’s Avengers and my Geek Pride shines through More Than Ever
I’m sure that most of the world wasn’t waiting for this movie since they were little kids. I’m sure even less of you were waiting for this after Ironman. This comes on the first page of The Warlord #53.

Day 2, my return to the Great Allentown Comic Con 2011. In my mind, and apparently in many others, there was an anticipation at arrival of noon to come. Because at noon, Mr. Peter Mayhew, Chewbacca himself would be speaking on a panel with Tom Kane, the voice of Yoda in Clone Wars.
The room was packed, or at least for a con of this size, and compared to the panels that I attended on day one.
