For a little fun, I’ve decided to respond to Moving the Needle’s Roy MacMillan, who tagged me in a social media post. I’ve renamed it “The Nine Threes,” because it didn’t have a name and it contains nine things that all require three answers.

Geeking Out was as Profitable as it was Fun in 2015 A Look Back

Looking back at 2015, it’s safe to say that another banner geek year has passed. So let’s take a look into what made this one so special.

Starting at the movies, the record for box office opening was broken twice this year, and almost three times, all with geek movies. First, in May, Avengers: Age of Ultron fell just shy ($191,271,109) of its predecessor, Marvel’s The Avengers ($207,438,708). Then in July, Jurassic World took over the top spot ($208,806,270), and lastly the current record holder from earlier this month, Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($247,966,675).

Here it is… Post 300.

When I started this blog, I never set a goal for how much I would or even could write. I just set out to be the geek I am and tell stories, entertain, and inform as best I could.

So upon nearly reaching the nice round number of 300, I decided to put the call out to my readers, many of whom have become friends, to say something about either, myself, the blog, or the reaching of the 300th post milestone.
