Do you know Anonymous? Their twitter description is “We are Anonymous, We are legion, We never forgive, We never forget, Expect us.” They’ve been attacking, a.k.a. digitally hacking, governments and other websites as part of their freedom fighting and digital Robin Hood act.

But Monday, one of their alleged members dropped the ball in a huge way.

Public Service Announcement: Check your computer for DNS Malware

DNS Changer Working Group Malware Attack

The world has been abuzz with talk of the latest threat to our society. A DNS Malware, that if unchecked could render your box of silicon chips and wiring unable to connect to the internet on Monday. Well, there is a plus and a negative to this.

First off, there is a site that will check to see if you are infected, created by the DNS Changer Working Group, go there now to launch the check tool. For the record you could have contracted the malware through facebook or Google, but who goes to those places anyway?

Mr. Zuckerberg I Salute you and your Hoodie

I don’t claim to know all there is about investing and investors and companies going public. I do, however, know a lot about business and supply and demand. And as for all of this hullabaloo around Marck Zuckerberg and his hoodie, I completely understand… But as for the news outlets that are just reporting the surface facts, they are completely missing the point.

Mark Zuckerberg, like him or not, created facebook.

Titanic II, A really hubristic homage to a ship that sank!

So, one of the richest people in Australia wants to construct Titanic II. Well, “wants” is the wrong world, he “is” constructing Titanic II. He’s commissioned a state-owned Chinese company to construct the ship. But wait, there’s more, he’s going to build it with the exact dimensions of the original ship, you know, the one that’s at the bottom of the North Atlantic. Doesn’t this seem a bit odd?

Doesn’t it seem like he’s really tempting fate here?

Posterous acquired by Twitter. An Email too late…

Posterous Spaces

On the morning of March 13th, 2012 I learned that Twitter had purchased Posterous. It’s very big news in the world of microblogging and social media because Twitter is a powerhouse in social media and Posterous is a player in microblogging, a rival or Tumblr.

I mention the date of March, 13th 2012 because as a Posterous user, I received an email from them telling me of the acquisition by Twitter on March 19th.
