On the hunt for some inspiration for a Father’s Day article recently, I started digging through the endless number of online pieces about “man caves” – the temples of testosterone, haven of hangovers.

Two unexpected entries crossed my Google feed, thanks to a pair of articles outlining the apparent trend (although the articles were from 2010 and 2012) of “mom caves” or “woman caves.”

As long as there has been television, there have been hosts that we welcome into our homes.

Here I have compiled the Top 10 TV Hosts.

Agree or argue, these are some talented individuals, both on and off the screen.

It’s not often that a cartoon series lasts for 23 years. In retrospect it seems downright implausible that a cartoon series on FOX would last that long as they did prematurely terminate Family Guy (only to resurrect it) and Futurama (which was resurrected after great straight to DVD sales).

So, The Simpsons hit the 500 episode mark and that should be and was celebrated.

I didn’t read Russell Brand’s first autobiography “My Booky Wook: A Memoir of Sex, Drugs, and Stand-Up” in fact, I only picked up “Booky Wook 2: This Time It’s Personal” because it was on clearance at Barnes & Nobles (how much longer is that store going to be around any way), I enjoy his comedy, and I had watched one of his comedy specials earlier in the week.

Those three factors led me to a very good book. As I said I can’t compare it to his first book, but then again, I don’t need to
