I know the cop wasn’t talking about anything more than the city he is trying to protect, but with the twists and turns in the three act play called Daredevil season two on Netflix, he could well have been talking about the show itself, and this season in particular.

Yes, Daredevil is back; Matthew Murdock is once again joined in the city he loves by Foggy, Karen, Stick, and new this season the Punisher and Elektra.

On November 20, Jessica Jones made the leap from the pages of Marvel Comics to the small screen, or any screen, with the release of her very own Netflix series.

This is Marvel’s second Netflix series which follows the success of Daredevil this past spring.

Early on Jessica Jones is full of subplots as it was designed to be. Taking its cues from classic film noir, these subplots are all connected, but they are just as much devices to confuse and complicate a story as they are a part of that story. As a classic film noir show Jessica Jones dramatically succeeds.

Ant-Man is What I have come to Expect from a Marvel Origin Film

Marvel Ant Man Movie Review

My knowledge of Ant-Man, Hank Pym, Scott Lang, and Wasp doesn’t come from reading the comics, but I knew about them in a way familiar to many geeks: from conversation and osmosis from friends who do read the comics about the pint-sized powerhouse.

At best, I think I’ve read one or two issues. But I was still excited to see the character on the big screen, making his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut.

And Marvel did not disappoint.
