So Palmer and I talk music, quite a little bit. This list is actually from my current playlist – teased out and edited down severely. At any given time I’m listening to music from the 1970’s through to songs not yet released publicly (oh yeah, having a music podcast has its perks baby!) and it is constantly changing.

From Across the Pond: Agent Hunt’s A to Z Playlist
This list was originally about 40 songs long, and didn’t include the letters X and Z. My Amazon and Spotify playlists let me down so I was forced to delve further into the internet. I’ve no doubt that if I played to this my friends and family, they’d know it was mine.

An A to Zed Playlist from The Other Maier, Kristin (the one with the better musical taste)
A Special Report from Agent MamaBear
I used the same parameters as Chris did. I went off the songs on my iPod. These aren’t necessarily my 26 favourite songs, but songs that have some sort of meaning to me… some enough so that they have remained on my playlist for over 25 years.
Declassify >The A to Z Files
An A to Zed Playlist from Our Liner Notes Chris Maier
A Special Report from Agent Parlophone
When Palmer tasked me with putting together an A – Z list of essential songs, my mind reeled at the possibilities…
Declassify >Rock & Rule: The Cult Classic That Never Really Was
There was a time, not that long ago, where aiming an animated movie at an older audience was quite the gamble. This time also overlaps with the period where Disney was still the king of animation for feature length cartoons and everyone else was lucky to even be mentioned…
Not everything is destined to be a hit or even lucky enough to get “cult classic” status. Ralph Bakshi, who I’ve written a lot about, has made a career of smaller independent cartoons targeted at older audiences that all have gained cult status.
