“Climbing up the corporate ladder can be murder” says the promotional poster for A Shock to the System. The poster also contains a quote from the Atlantic Journal and Constitution stating,”A film for anyone who ever muttered, ‘DIE YUPPIE SCUM!'”

After having been introduced to Terry Brooks, I started at the beginning with The Sword of Shannara, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Then I moved on to book two in Terry Brooks’ first trilogy, The Elfstones of Shannara.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is a great show. It’s well written with witty dialogue and intriguing characters. It’s shot as if it were a movie and has an epic soundtrack. Overall, it’s just a good time.

Ralph Bakshi’s Wizards is just as relevant today as it was when it first came out in 1977, if not more so. The story is set after celebrating 3000 years of peace, since the world blew up in “a thousand atomic fireballs.”

If you don’t know of Den from anything other than Heavy Metal, you’re missing out. You get the basic principle, but there is a lot more to the character than just getting thrown into another universe. Also, you won’t know his true origin.
