Ralph Bakshi: A Rotospective

Rotospective: Ralph Bakshi, Lessons in Artistry, Rebellion and Success

His influences were Bob Dylan, Jackson Pollack, Elvis Presley, Superman comic books, beatniks, jazz, Jack Kerouac, and the old school creators of cartooning and animation. Aunt Beru Sings! How Bonnie Piesse endured to launch her debut album Bittersweet EP

This is a story of the release of Bonnie Piesse’s Bittersweet EP, her debut album and a good one at that. But you can’t talk about the music without talking about Bonnie’s perseverance to get the Bittersweet EP made.

Infiltrating The 2013 Great Allentown Comic Con: The “Too Big” Little Con

Darth Maul at 2013 Great Allentown Comic Con

I really do enjoy going to The Great Allentown Comic Con. It’s always full of and eclectic bunch of artists, writers and celebrities.

It has friendly dealers that are just as willing to strike up a conversation as they are to sell you something. You can haggle prices and there are always people cosplaying, or if you prefer, there are always people in costume.

Geek Space: The Shelf of Inspiration

Geek Space The Shelf of Inspiration

As a geek, I have bookcases full of stuff. It’s the nature of the beast. Some of it is legit storage, but more often than not, it’s an amazing trophy case of books, magazines, games and figurines from my past and present.

I don’t claim to have a legit system of organization, but its not purely chaos. As such, the space I’m going to share with you is a shelf of mine and what makes the things on it special to me.
