While the Olympics have been a bit hit or miss for me, less of it has to do with the network and more of it has to do with time zones, I have caught some of it, and of course, the USA’s win in the Gold Cup has continued the summer of soccer, but sports is not the only thing I have been consuming this summer.

I have been watching and listening to other things as well, plus my regular podcast habit (with a few new ones I’ll be mentioning), and my reading, means that there is literally always something to consume.

Yes, Fake Doctors, Real Friends is the Scrubs rewatch podcast, but it is more than that. It is two people who genuinely love and respect each other, reliving a shared experience, while sharing their other experiences.

So obviously the official podcast synopsis states that you should “Join Scrubs co-stars and real-life best friends Zach Braff and Donald Faison for a weekly comedy podcast where they relive the hit TV show, one episode at a time.

This series is absolutely a continuation of everything you didn’t realize you wanted from a Jurassic Park /World franchise television serial. And with Season Two of the Netflix exclusive, there are even more obvious nods to the larger franchise, while maintaining a uniqueness that sets it apart from the films.

I wrote about Season One, where I gushed about Camp Cretaceous’s place in the canon, but with the kids alone on the island with the fences down, the dinosaur discoveries are bountiful.

Upload is a good show on Amazon Prime that could be great if it didn’t follow the binging streaming formula. (The following may contain spoilers.)

The writing and biting social commentary on future capitalism, technology, and relationships that still manages to hit close to home. But, and this is, for me, what keeps this show from being a great show, is the “whodunnit” nature of the plot throughline.
